I Used To Be Darker on DVD

Matt Porterfield’s third feature I Used To Be Darker is now available on DVD and VOD in the US and will be available to stream on Netflix May 27th! ED Distribution will release the DVD in France on May 6! Arsenal will pair with Filmgalerie 451 for the German-language DVD this fall!

HAMILTON ON DVD

We’re very excited to announce that The Cinema Guild has acquired home video rights for Matt Porterfield’s Hamilton (2006) along with all US rights for his new film, Putty Hill (2010).

In Baltimore’s daily, B Magazine, Porterfield stated, “It’s an incredible honor to be part of a catalogue that includes recent work by some of the world’s great directors — Jia Zhangke, Claire Denis, Jaques Rivette, Alexander Sokurov, Manoel de Oliveira, and Agnes Varda. Signing with Cinema Guild means my films will be seen by more people the way they’re supposed to be seen and I can move ahead and make another film, knowing my first two are now in good hands.” Both will see release in the next year and be included alongside titles like these…
